About Me

I am a 5th year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am part of the UNC-NLP group where I am advised by Prof. Shashank Srivastava. My research interests comprise learning from natural language explanations/feedback, learning to explain, and interactive learning. I have also worked on abstract language understanding, language grounding, and debiasing representations in the past.

During my Ph.D. I have spent summers as research intern in various industry research labs - AWS AI (summer 2023), IBM Research Almaden (summer 2022), and Bloomberg (summer 2021).

Before this, I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2018 with the degree of Bachelor of Technology (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering (undergraduate thesis supervised Prof. Niloy Ganguly.
